Robert Alexander Author Visit
Wed April 21 7:00PM
Rochester Public Library
Free and open to the public
For nearly thirty years Robert Alexander has been traveling to Russia, where he has attended Leningrad State University and worked for the U.S.Government. Since 1990 he has been a partner in a St. Petersburg company that operates a warehouse and customs clearance center, dental clinic, and Barabu, a chain of espresso-wine bars with locations at The Hermitage and the Fortress of Peter and Paul. While he's already made a name for himself with his series of bestselling mysteries (written as R. D. Zimmerman), he has also written a well-received trilogy of Russian historical novels (The Kitchen Boy, Rasputin's Daughter, The Romanov Bride) about the last days of Empire. Raised in Chicago, he now lives in Minneapolis. This event is co-sponsored by the AAUW Rochester Branch and the Rochester Public Library.
